The machine may be used on almost any horizontal surface, providing the appropriate abrasive discs are used for the particular surface to be sanded or micro-finished. Accessory Pads - The SMF-Series of machines all operate on The Quick Grit Change System. This system allows the operator to change 4 abrasive discs at once by removing the accessory pad with a particular grade grit and replacing with another accessory pad with a different grade grit. The Quick Grit Change System saves down time and helps manage sandpaper. There are a number of accessory pads available depending on the model. For example the SMF-200 comes with two types of clover shaped accessory pads, one for levelling the surface and joins (Nieva accessory pad - a rigid, closed cell pad) and one for microfinishing-achieving the finish you require (Eneva accessory pad - a flexible opened cell pad).

Bearing Tool - The Surcare SMF-Series has moving parts that wear. Relative parts such as bearings should be checked and replaced as needed. These checks should be done as a matter of safety as well as a matter of obtaining maximum performance and long machine life.
